Add a column to show each of these additional fields - Columns listed here are from the lookup list chosen above. Any column checked will show up on the parent item when it is in view mode (after a selection is made in the lookup drop list and the parent item is saved). They will not show in up in Edit mode. The values of these columns are the values of the corresponding columns on the selected item. (If using the Crow Canyon Forms Manager or other tool that puts columns on different tabs, these selected additional fields need to be added to the appropriate tab to be visible.)
Additional Filters - When an Additional Filter is chosen, a "Filter by" box appears above the drop list. This can be used to filter the list of items displayed in the drop list
Populate additional fields from Lookup List -- see Templating using Cascaded Lookup
View - Select a predefined view from the lookup list, which will filter options available in the lookup. Note that a view could filter out a related item that has already been selected. In that case, when the parent item is in Edit mode, it will not show that related item, which could give the mistaken impression that the related item is no longer associated with the parent item, when it actually is still there.
Sort By View - Will sort the options based on the view selected
Allow Adding New Values - Shows a text box when New Entry is pressed, which allows adding a new value to the lookup list. This is used when simply adding one item in the list is sufficient, such as a new City to a State/City cascading lookup.
Use NEW Form - Shows the NewForm for the lookup list when New Entry is pressed, which allows adding a new item to the lookup list. This is used when there is a need to have more complete information for a new item than a single text box provides, such as when adding a new related asset to a lookup.
Convert to Regular Lookup - This will convert the column from a Cascaded Lookup column to a standard SharePoint Lookup column. No data is lost when this is done, but the functionality that Cascaded Lookup provided will no longer be available.
