Conditions, Placeholders and Functions are powerful features found in Workflows and Custom Actions. Click on the links below further explanation and examples.

 

1.Conditions allow you to limit when your workflow or custom action business logic will execute based on data values found within the current list.

2.Placeholders provide data values with embedded logic that can be used in Conditions and Column Mappings.

3.Functions perform data processing on data values used in Column Mappings and Workflow Variables.

4.Reserved Characters is a list of special characters that cannot be used in Workflows.
