The Discussion Column improves on the standard Multiple Lines of Text box:

 

 

•Simpler: List "Versioning" does not need to be turned.

•Cleaner: Blank entries are not added each time the item is saved.

•Better: Entries are accessed directly from List View without opening item.

•Full Data Access: All entries can be exported to Excel or Access, not just the latest entry.

•More Control: Users can delete their entries, Admins can delete any entry
