Add a column to any SharePoint list or library to show different colors or icons based on the value of the column.

 

Crow Canyon Color Choice Column for SharePoint is a custom column that can be added to any SharePoint list or library. It is a variation of the standard Choice column. In this custom column, the choices are mapped to specific colors or icons.

When the item is in new or edit mode, the column shows a list of choices. When the item is in view mode or shown in the list of items, the color or icon is displayed.

This feature can be used to give an easy-to-see visual representation of such things as the priority, status, or other values of the item. For example, it might be used in a Help Desk to indicate high priority tickets, or in a Leads list to show the hot/cold level of the lead. Icons can be used to identify different statuses of a ticket, lead, contact, account, etc. There are many other uses.

Which colors or icons are used is completely configurable within the column’s property page. Any color can be chosen for each choice. A set of icons is provided with this custom column, along with the ability to add additional ones.

The Color Choice Column provides a powerful and useful tool for enhancing and customizing the display of lists and libraries in SharePoint.
